Now the most wonderful time of the year has now been and gone (by which we mean Christmas), we've turned our attention to that most romantic time of the year… Valentine's Day!

We especially love creating romantic cards, and we always get a nice warm fuzzy feeling whenever we make and send out a card that we know is for someone's loved one. Of all the types of handmade cards that we create, we think that those given as a romantic gesture are always the most special.

For our 2017 Valentine's collection, we focused on creating illustrated and hand lettered designs, with three main themes in mind: cute Valentines, romantic Valentines and space themed Valentines (basically three of our favourite themes for anything!) With improvements to some of last year's designs as well as creating some lovely new hand drawn illustrations too that we hope you'll like.

As our "All I Want For Christmas" design was so popular, we thought we'd make a Valentines version! Similary, this card features a heart framed handwritten sweet sentiment created on a lovely background of stamped hearts. We're intrigued to see if this one will be just as popular...

Cupid's Arrows Valentines Card

This romantic card will surely leave your sweetheart smitten! With a "happy Valentine's day" message intertwined into Cupid's arrows, we embellish this design with silver glitter accents to the arrows for a subtle sparkle effect.

With a hand drawn design of sweetheart detail Cupid's arrows and the phrase "Be My Valentine?" this card is sure to seduce your special someone into being your Valentine!

If your Valentine means everything to you (which we're sure they do!), then this "You're My Moon & Stars" design is the Valentine's card for you! Framed with stars, a crescent moon and lunar phases for a cool space vibe, we hand embellish this card with copper ink dots on the romantic message and with glitter for some celestial sparkle!

Constellation VALENTINE Card

More of a Valentine's specific constellation design, this card is an awesome way to send some cosmic love to your crush! A nice little feature too that you stargazers may have spotted… The Orion constellation is included in the starry sky, (namely because it's our favourite one), but also because of the bow and arrow relation ie. Cupid | 'Orion The Hunter'. Pretty cool eh?!

This cosmic "LOVE" constellation card is the perfect way to remind your Valentine of how your love for each other was always destined to be! We've even added in a geometric heart into the constellation to show a little extra love!

OK, so we're not entirely sure what animal this adorable pair are…. Pretty much a cat, but with hints of a fox it seems… We're going for cats...But does it really matter when they are this darn cute?! We've coloured them in a ying-yang/opposites as one effect to show how they are just meant to be, and we've added on lots of lovely hearts to make this cute card extra romantic. 

Robots Valentines Card

We're all for a bit of geeky love, and this cute robots card is surely the sweetest way to remind your Valentine of how you were always meant to be together. And for a little extra romance, we've drawn their antennas connected and featured a maxed out love-o-meter to show that you could not love them anymore!
